Muzzle Velocity refers to the speed of a round or bullet, which comes from the rifle's muzzle or its business end. A friend of mine suggested the name as a tagline because of the kind of realism and assertiveness I bring to situations. I believe in directness and clarity.
I am a massive fan of the show, The Thick of It, starring Peter Capaldi as a Malcolm Tucker, a stand-in for Alistair Campbell, the man who ran the premiership of Tony Blair. In the show, he and his righthand man, Jamie, ask one of the more junior government members if he wanted to be a brain at a think tank, or "do you want to be a soldier?" This is especially important in politics and life, whether you want to speculate on what could be or whether you will do something. Life is very short and, for many, brutal.
In this Substack, I will give you all opinions not fit for publication elsewhere because of how getting an article published works. I will engage in endless speculation, which I may or may not follow up on because life is short.
Some topics will include tech, business, politics, war, peace. Thank you for reading!
Congratulations Adam
